Governmental Donations
CFC receives donations from the State of California, Federal donations, county and local governments. Federal donors include the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Agriculture and several military bases.
The State of California lists Chico Unified School District as the program name. Some federal donations are also listed as Chico Unified School District as they are our sponsoring organization.

Because of the recent financial problems in California, many of the centralized warehouses have been closed. CFC can pick up directly from offices. We can bring sufficient staff, pallets and shrink wrap. We provide this service at no charge. Call our Director of Transportation, Ozzie, to discuss the best way of handling your donation. We would be happy to furnish references from our satisfied customers. The shortage of funds at the state level is causing a very negative impact on our schools. Many schools that didn't want refurbished computers several years ago are very happy to get our quality, guaranteed systems. The highest quality donations go to schools. Many districts have not purchased new systems for over three years but prefer to use refurbished ones from CFC.
